Race cars made a surprise appearance in the middle of Seoul. To make it even more surprising, they appeared at Seoul Sky, the highest landmark in South Korea.

Superrace will hold a media art exhibition on the 20th. The exhibition, planned under the concept of the racing car championship's season slogan “Super Exciting, Superrace,” is the result of a collaboration between Superrace and Seoul Sky, the observatory at Lotte World Tower. The plan is for the exhibition to come to fans in the middle of Seoul for about 4 months until August 27th.

Seoul Sky, an observatory located on the top floor of Lotte World Tower, is not only fulfilling its originally intended role, but it is also growing into an experiential observatory/integrated cultural space where visitors can enjoy exhibitions, experiences, and media art.

The Superrace exhibition, scheduled to be held at Seoul Sky, will features pieces of media art that reinterpret dazzling, dynamic car racing scenes with physically exhibited actual racing cars taking center stage. Visitors will be able to feel not only a sense of anticipation through the busy movements of the team members in the tension-filled pit ahead of a car race coupled with surrounding noises, but also the thrill and excitement of a car race through the sound of exploding engines, cheers of the crowd, and lively broadcast commentary. The “Super Exciting, Superrace” exhibition can be viewed by anyone who has purchased a ticket for admission to Seoul Sky.

Also taking place is a pop-up exhibition set up jointly by Superrace and its official fuel partner, HD Hyundai Oilbank. For the pop-up exhibition, a podium that goes well with a racing-themed observatory will be installed on the 120th floor of Seoul Sky to function as a photo zone.

The 2023 CJ Logistics Superrace Championship, which has announced the start of the season with media art, will embark in earnest on its schedule at Yongin Speedway on the 22nd and 23rd with a double round.
